IMAGE Mission Status:
- As of December 18, 2005, the IMAGE mission came to an abrupt halt when communications with
the spacecraft ceased. There was hope that communication would be restored with the eclipse
cycle of October 2007. Unfortunately that did not materialize and the mission has been declared at an end.
- On January 20, 2018, the IMAGE spacecraft was found to be transmitting again.
- Efforts are actively focused on determining the status of the spacecraft and instruments.
